The beauty of sterling silver lies in its bright finish. It is soft enough to bend, and yet hard enough to endure daily use. This hardness is also why sterling silver is mostly produced using the loss-wax method; where wax is hand crafted into the desired shape and placed into a mold. Silver is then poured into the mold while the wax melts away. The silver is then once again reshaped and cleaned by hand.
